Casting notice. An audition has been announced for Saturday, Aug. 31 in Portsmouth. According to the New Hampshire Film & Television Office “the filmographer is seeking male and female Lead (late 20s/early 30s) for a short film. The film is titled "Respiration." The theme of the film is regret and is about a man's last thoughts as he is dying (But it's not as depressing as it sounds). The film will be under 10 minutes in length and will be submitted to multiple film festivals upon completion. The script includes approximately 25-30 lines for each character (Your basic witty banter). It will require filming in two locations on separate days (A park and a Museum). There may be 4-6 weeks between filming at the two locations. Our intent is to begin filming in mid-September (Park Scene). Actors will be paid $300 (for the entire project) upon completion of filming. This will include rehearsal(s) and at least two days of filming (and possibly minor reshoots or dialogue recording as needed). We will work with union or non-union actors. If interested in auditioning, please send head shot and acting resume to james.zibailo@gmail.com. Where available, please include a link to acting reel or other online samples of your work.”
