One Killed in Thursday Morning Crash on Route 101

Police have not yet released the name of the driver.

One person was killed in a crash on Route 101 in Milford on Wednesday morning, according to a story on WMUR.

The operator of a 2006 Toyota Highlander was headed west on Route 101 and, for unknown reasons, crossed into eastbound traffic, hitting a 2001 Chevrolet pickup truck around 10 a.m., according to Milford Police.

The driver of the Highlander, whose name has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene.The driver of the truck, Richard Benotti, 78, of Temple, was not injured.

According to the Nashua Telegraph, police have said neither speed or alcohol appear to be contributing factors.
