Police Respond to 4-car Accident on Route 101A
A snapshot of Amherst Police activity between Dec. 10 and 12. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013
- 3:11 p.m.: Responded to a two-car accident on Route 101 at Camp Road. No injuries were reported. Drivers were Kristin Potito, 44, of Bennington, and Rose Burke, 61, of Merrimack.
Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013
- 7:17 a.m.: Responded to a single-vehicle accident on Baboosic Lake Road. No injuries were reported. Driver was Heather Sweeney, 56, of Amherst.
- 3:10 p.m.: Arrested Joshua Bennett Hamlin, 40, of 83B Christian Hill Road, Amherst, on a charge of driving after suspension. Hamlin was released on $500 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for Jan. 9, at Milford district court.
- 5:17 p.m.: Responded to a two-car accident on Route 101A. No injuries were reported. Drivers were Michael Merwede, 42, of Peterborough and Michael Howe, 37, of Merrimack.
Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013
- 9:02 a.m.: Responded to a two-car accident on Route 101A at North Hollis Road. No injuries were reported. Drivers were Joseph Haerinck, 72, of Nashua, and Sarah Barrow, 38, of Hollis.
- 9:07 a.m.: Responded to a four-car accident on Route 101A. No injuries were reported. Drivers were Nicholas Needler, 22, of Temple, Amanda Morrell, 30, of Milford, Joseph Casey, 76, and Jacqueline Bova, 61, both of Amherst.
