Sabers Take Multiple Wins During Spring Relay
Souhegan took seven first place finishes at the meet on Saturday.

The third annual spring relay meet hosted by Souhegan track and field teams was held on Saturday, April 13.

The Souhegan boys' team had four first place finishes. The 4 by 400 and 4 by 800 relay teams of Jake and Nate Kittredge, Sam Ballard, and Tanner Kent ran 3:31.0 and 8:03.0 - recording their best times yet this season.
The distance medley team of Ryan Hinrichs, Mike Casey, Stefan DeShazo, and Ben Platt also were first with their time of 11:29.1. The remaining first for the Saber boys' team was the pole vault triad of Trevor Brown, Jon Nogueira, and Cam Behn. Their combined best vaults totaled 25' 0".

The Saber girls recorded three first places. The 4 by 800 team of Sarah Hurd, Amy Lambert, Hannah Gillis, and Hannah Culver ran 10:21.3 easily winning the race. Sarah, Amy, Hannah Culver, and Min Lu Kelley-Durham won the 4 by 400 with a time of 4:21.8.
The remaining Saber first place was in the long jump where Mikayla Hickey, Brooke Tanguay, and Amy Lambert's best jumps totaled 41' 7"
Nashua North dominated the meet with overall first place finishes by both the boys' and girls' teams. Boys' scores were North 94, Pinkerton 82, Merrimack 74, Souhegan 70, Hollis/Brookline 25, and Con-Val 20. Girls' scores were North 79, Pinkerton 74, Merrimack 62, Hollis/Brookline 60, Souhegan 58, Con-Val 30, and Manchester Memorial 29.
Souhegan traveled to Hollis for a triangular meet with Hollis/Brookline and Con-Val on Tuesday, April 16.
