Souhegan High School's soccer teams played two very close games Friday night with each game ending in an overtime decision.
The boys' soccer team opened their season with a 3 to 2 over time loss to Hollis/Brookline Cavaliers. Mike Hayden registered a goal and an assist. Liam Rendall had a goal and Matt Hopfenspirger added an assist. Goalie Tiegue Young made six saves.
On the ladies' side, the team opened the 2103 with an extremely competitive, match at Hollis/Brookline and came away with a 1-0 victory in the second overtime.
