Souhegan Baseball Player of the Week: Connor Cinque

Each week, the Souhegan Baseball team names a Player of the Week.  In addition to demonstrating outstanding baseball skills in practices and games, the individual is a role model on and off the baseball field.

The Fourth PLAYER OF THE WEEK (week of April 8m 2013) for the 2013 season is presented to Connor Cinque. Conner is a senior first baseman, pitcher and designated hitter.

During the past week, Connor batted . 667 (4 for 6) with and rbi and in the Sabers 8-3 victory over Lebanon, Conner had THREE doubles.

Connor's solid defensive play, including snaring a line drive for an important out, helped strengthen the team's defense.

Connor speaks with his teammates to keep everyone mentally into the game.
