Souhegan Drops Contest at Milford

The Souhegan Sabers traveled to play at Milford and came home with a loss to the Spartans. 

Tyrell Torres started the game for the Sabers and gave up six runs.  Chandler MacKenzie and Peter Bennett each threw their first innings in relief.

The Souhegan defense did have some defensive highlights as sophomore centerfielder Seth Learned played well in patrolling centerfield for the Sabers ... freshmen shortstop Thomas Bennett and senior thirdbaseman Peter Bennett each played well in the infield.

The Saber bats were led by Tyrell Torres (3 for 4) and Peter Bennett (2 for 3) and rbi's from Andrew MacDonald, Connor Cinque, Cameron Crook and Peter Bennett.
