A simple swab could save a life.
Souhegan High School held a Bone Marrow Drive through the Be The Match Foundation on Tuesday. Those who sign up only need to swab their cheek, and they are added to a registry that matches patients to lifesaving bone marrow donors.
The event was organized by Amherst student Ryan D'Auteuil, whose little brother Drew had his life saved by just such a donation. (Learn more about the D'Auteil's story.)
