Town Offices Moving Back to Town Hall

Town Hall re-opening. Amherst Town Office staff is getting ready to make the move back into the town offices at the end of this week. According to a note on the town website, town offices will be closed on Friday to accommodate the move back to the Town Hall on Main Street from temporary office locations at the fire department and Amherst Middle School. The town hall closed at the end of August in order for roof repairs to be made after serious structural issues were discovered earlier this year.

Weather watch.

Today's forecast calls for cloudy skies through mid-morning, gradually clearing with a high near 31. Tonight, increasing clouds with a low around 19.
