What's Open and Closed in Amherst on Christmas Eve and Day

Christmas is just two days away. Here are the hours you can expect for town offices, the library schools and more.

Schools. Schools let out for Winter Break on Friday and will re-open on Jan. 6.

Town Offices will close at noon on Tuesday, Dec. 24 and will be closed all day on Tuesday, Dec. 25.

The Amherst Transfer Station will hold normal  this week hours, but will be closed on Tuesday, Dec. 25.

The Amherst Public Library will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

The Amherst Post Office will be closed on Tuesday, Dec. 25.

Need to do last minute grocery shopping? Shaw's in Milford will be open on Monday, Dec. 24 from 7 a.m.-6 p.m. but they will be closed on Christmas Day in Milford and at both Merrimack locations.

Or last-minute Christmas shopping? The Merrimack Premium Outlets will be open from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. on Christmas Eve and closed on Christmas Day.

Most banks will be closed on Christmas Day.
