What's Open and Closed in Merrimack on Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to one and all! Amherst Patch wishes everybody a happy holiday with their friends and families.

Here is what is open/closed this holiday:

Amherst Town Offices

The town hall will be closed on Thursday and Friday. They will re-open on Monday.

Amherst Town Library

The library closes at 5 p.m. Wednesday and will be closed Thursday and Friday. It will reopen on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Walmart

Walmart will be closed during the first part of the day, but opens for early Black Friday shopping at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. 

Shaw's Supermarkets

Shaw's in Milford will be open for abbreviated hours on Thanksgiving Day from 7 a.m.-3 p.m.

TD Bank

The bank will be closed on Thanksgiving.

Amherst Transfer Station

The transfer station will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
