3 Homes Burglarized in 24 hours

Bedford detectives are investigating three home burglaries within 24 hours, though it is unknown at this time if any of the cases are related.

The first reported burglary occurred Friday at 11:30 p.m. on Ministerial Road. The second burglary was at 12:30 a.m. Saturday on Boynton Road. The break-ins appear to have occurred in the late afternoon or evening, police said.

And on Saturday night, at about 9, officers responded to a home on Lynn Drive for the third burglary, which appears to have taken place during the day or night.

Similar items were taken in each of the burglaries.

The Bedford Police Department reminded homeowners to secure their homes before leaving. Other precautions recommended: secure unattended vehicles and record serial numbers of valuables for future reference.

Anyone with information on the cases under investigation are asked to call the Bedford Police Department at 603-472-5113.
