A man working across the street from where the child fell said he heard a “thud” and a child crying. He ran over and said the child stopped crying momentarily and began crying again.
A window on the third floor could be seen partially open and detectives were taking photographs looking out the window. Information gathered at the scene indicates the child hit a small roof over the back entrance and then fell to the ground.
