1. It was a good day Wednesday for 35 cats/kittens and 10 puppies welcomed by The Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire. They were among 270 shelter pets that safely arrived on a Clear the Shelters Good Flight from Florida to New Jersey and New Hampshire for a second chance. The program is made possible through NBCUniversal Local, Hill’s Pet Nutrition and The Animal Rescue Site by GreaterGood. "All of the pets on board will receive any care they may need before being placed for adoption," the Animal Rescue League said in a recent post. 2. New Hampshire is one of the top states in the nation for Happily Ever After. A recent survey by Mr-Gamble.com found that several New England states had high marriage rates. 3. The Bedford Police Department thanks everyone who came to support The National Night Out softball game on Tuesday, Aug. 1. The final score was BPD-15, BFD-7!
