1. A country idol! Superstar Carrie Underwood bring her “The Blown Away Tour,” to the Verizon Wireless Arena on September 14! Carrie is donating $1 from each ticket sold on the North American leg of “The Blown Away Tour” to support Red Cross disaster relief. This donation will help the Red Cross provide shelter, food, and emotional support for those in need after a disaster.
2. Antiques and sunshine! Don’t miss the 17th annual event on Saturday, Sept. 15 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.on the historic Amherst Village Green. This is a rain or shine event. This highly anticipated show and sale presented by the Historical Society includes some 30 dealers and features many items such as country furniture and decorative pieces (stone ware and kitchen items, etc.), architectural and garden items, fine silver and glass, dolls and toys, books, textiles, art and jewelry. Admission is $5.
3. I pronounce you man and groom. The Nashua Gay & Lesbian Wedding Expo will be rocking the Radisson Hotel Nashua on Sunday from 12:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. You & your partner are invited to join for this elegant afternoon! 4. Rock that block. Teen Challenge New England will host Rock The Block 2012 at Veterans Memorial Park in Manchester on Saturday from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. There will be Live Bands, bicycle giveaways and bounce houses. Teen Challenge provides successful recovery programs to combat youth drug abuse.
5. Collect coins? The 10th Annual New Hampshire Coin and Currency Expo is taking place at the Radisson Hotel in Manchester on Friday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. There will be 200+ Tables, dealers from New England, NY, NJ and the East Coast. FREE APPRAISALS will also be available with cash buyers on site. Admission is $3 for the day and children under 12 get in free.
