5 Things: Bulldogs Take Aim at Gridiron Glory

Here's what's good today.

1. Title tilt. Who's ready for some gridiron glory on Saturday? First, better gird yourselves for some top-notch football action as the Bedford High School Bulldogs take on the Winnacunnet High School Warriors in the NHIAA Division II Championship at 1 p.m. in Hampton. Both teams are 7-1 (in Division II play), though Winnacunnet is the top-seed in this final game. Winnacunnet's loss was to Keene, while Bedford's sole loss was to the Warriors, who defeated the Bulldogs 13-6 on Sept. 7.

2. Toys for Tots drop-off locations. The Bedford Police Department at 55 Constitution Drive will once again serve as a drop-off location for wrapped and unwrapped toys for children and teenagers up to 16-years old. In addition, residents can utilize drop-off locations at Ryk Bullock's house at 11 Meetinghouse Road and The NH Liquor and Wine Outlet at the Bedford Groves shoping plaza.

3. Guys and Dolls. Beginning tonight and running through this weekend, the Bedford High School Theatre Company presents Guys and Dolls. Mark your calendars for the show, November 15, 16, & 17 at 7 p.m., and November 18 at 2 p.m. Tickets will be $5.00 for students and $10.00 for adults, and the show is appropriate for children three years and older. Tickets can be purchased at the door or at http://www.seatyourself.biz/bedfordhigh. 4. Ski and Skate Sale. The Bedford PTG invites you to its annual Ski & Skate sale where you can find big savings on new and used winter sports equipment and apparel.
