5 Things: Dispose of Your Christmas Tree for a Good Cause
Here's what's good in Bedford today!

1. Brrrrrrrr! According to Weather.com, today's forecast calls for a sunny day with a high of 21 degrees and no chance of precipitation.
2. What to do with your Christmas tree? Bedford Boy Scout Troop 388 will pick up your Christmas Tree Saturday, Jan. 5, between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. for Bedford residents. Have your tree ready beforehand and near the end of your driveway. Donations would be very appreciated and can be placed in the baggie, then attached to a tree branch near the base. Make checks payable to “Bedford Troop 388”. If you have any questions, email: PickUpMyTree@myfairpoint.net
3. Public Hearing on Town Budget. The first of two public hearings to review the proposed municipal budget will take place next Wednesday, Jan. 9.

4. Learn to ski or ride for free! First-time downhill skiers & snowboarders receive a free learn to ski or snowboard lesson, free equipment rentals & a free beginner terrain lift ticket at many New Hampshire ski resorts from Jan. 12 through 18.
