5 Things: Grounds for Change

Here's what's good in Bedford today.

1. Bedford Christmas Celebration. This year's festivities are scheduled for Dec. 23 at 5:30 p.m. The Caroling program will include a choir, hand bells and strings to accompany the carols and we welcome singers of all ages, and the living Nativity Scene will take place at 6:10 p.m. All area residents are cordially invited to attend. For more information please call the Presbyterian Church at 472-5841.

2. Coffee for a Cause. Members of the Bedford Historical Society are inviting residents to visit Schoolhouse #7, next to the Bedford Town Offices on North Amherst Road today from 10 a.m. to noon. While you're there, you can pick up some of the Historical Society's new coffee, which is brewed by CQ Coffee Roasters of Bedford for a year-long fundraiser to help raise money for the Stevens-Buswell Community Center. For every 12 ounce bag sold, CQ Coffee will donate $4 to the Stevens-Buswell Community Center. For more information, click here.
