5 Things: Letters to Santa

1. Your direct line to the North Pole. Santa would love to hear from all the boys and girls in Bedford. Drop him a line and send him good cheer and tell Santa how good you have been this past year. The Bedford Parks and Recreation Department has made arrangements with the post office and your letter will be sent directly to the North Pole from a special mailbox in the lobby of the Town Offices Building through Dec. 15.

2. Your U.S. Senator to hold office hours in Bedford. Residents who are interested in meeting with a member of Kelly Ayotte's staff can stop by the Bedford Town Office building, at 24 North Amherst Road, on Wednesday, Nov. 28, from 10-11 a.m.

4. The weatherman says ... According to Weather.com, today will feature mostly-sunny skies early with a high of 44 degrees and a 0-percent chance of rain.

5. On this day ... in 1963, President John F. Kennedy, who was assassinated three days earlier, was buried in Arlington National Cemetery. According to History.com, the date of Kennedy's burial also coincided with the third birthday of his son, John Jr.
