Your Christmas Lights Could Win You Free Electricity

Our annual Deck the House Contest is back, and once again we're looking for Bedford residents to compete among the best, most creative holiday decorations in America.

Patch sites across the country are looking for the best “decked”-out house in the nation, and Bedford Patch wants it to be yours. Do you go all out for the holidays? Do you put on a creative or quirky display?

Better yet, do you want a free month of electricity in addition to a chance to win $100,000 for your local school district?

If the answer to any of those questions is yes, click this link to upload a photo or video of your home to our contest page between Nov. 26 and Dec. 16. 

Only residents of Patch towns are eligible to enter. We’ll select 24 regional finalists (you could be one of them), and from those finalists we'll pick one grand prize winner. Patch will pay up to $500 of the utility bill for each finalist, while our national winner will have $100,000 donated to his or her local school district.
