Armed Robbery at Bedford Dunkin' Donuts

An armed assailant entered a Dunkin' Donuts in Bedford Thursday night and reportedly robbed the establishment at knifepoint.

According to Bedford Police, the suspect entered through the back door of the Dunkin' Donuts, at 209 Route 101 at approximately 9:11 p.m., and demanded money by threat of bodily harm to the employees on duty.

The alleged robber, described as a white male wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and blue bandanna covering his face, had already fled the scene with an undetermined amount of cash, when officers arrived minutes later.

A silver or gray Dodge sedan was seen leaving the area of the plaza at the time of the robbery.  No one was injured.
