Bedford Christmas Tree Lighting is Today
Here are five things you should know today in Bedford.

1. Bedford tree lighting. The annual Bedford tree lighting takes place on Thursday, Dec. 5, at 3 p.m. The Bedford Women's Club invites the community to gather by the Town Memorial Tree, located in front of the Bedford Presbyterian Church, to celebrate friendship and service. A color guard will recognize veterans. Members of the Bedford High School Chorus will close the ceremony with song.
2. The weatherman says ... Today's forecast calls for a high temperature of 47 degrees with a 40-percent chance of showers. The overnight low is 45 degrees with a 60-percent chance of rain.
3. The Best Christmas Pageant Ever? The Bedford Youth Performance Company(BYPC) invites you to get in the holiday spirit with this children's production based on the book by Barbara Robinson. The show takes place at The Derryfield School in Manchester on Friday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 7 at 1 p.m.
