Bedford Christmas Tree Lighting Set for this Week

1. Bedford tree lighting. The annual Bedford tree lighting takes place on Thursday, Dec. 5, at 3 p.m.  The Bedford Women's Club invites the community to gather by the Town Memorial Tree, located in front of the Bedford Presbyterian Church, to celebrate friendship and service. A color guard will recognize veterans. Members of the Bedford High School Chorus will close the ceremony with song.

2. Win $50 by sharing your opinion! The Bedford Recreation Department is asking residents to take a short survey and is offering a $50 gift card to one lucky respondent. Read more here.

3. The weatherman says ... Today's forecast calls for a high temperature of 46 degrees with a 10-percent chance of rain and mostly cloudy skies. The overnight low is 30 degrees.
