The six NH girls that were selected as Brine All Americans played great down in Boyd MD to represent NE. The six were Aleah Mackay, Sawyer Biron (Bedford High) Lexy Felt (Brewster Acad), Jess Cote, Shayna Murphy (Dover) and Olivia Green (Hollis). They played tough all weekend winning the first two games vs west teams. Played an amazing 5 to 5 tie game against the national champs LI team. And lost in the finals to DC by on goal. The offense was lead by the familiar duo of Lexy and Aleah teaming up for 7 goals throughout the tourney. Aleah Lead the team in assist with great field vision and speed and Lexy lead the team in goals being on the receiving end of those great passes. Sawyer played great on both sides of the field scoring and playing great defense and Jess and Olivia played strong NE defense to cause many turnovers. All though they didn’t win it all every team said they were the toughest team to play. The NH 6 were among girls from all over NE after making the team from about 200 girls that tried out this spring.
