Bedford Man Arrested for Driving Drunk After Hitting Pole

A Bedford man has been charged with operating under the influence of intoxicating liquor (OUIL) after Manchester Police responded to a single-car accident shortly after midnight Saturday.

According to an MPD press release, officers responded to the area of 82 Harriman Street around 12:30 a.m. and found a vehicle crashed into a pole.

The driver, 23-year-old Colin Ranfos of Bedford, was still seated inside the vehicle and was not injured.

The responding officer did, however, make observations that led her to believe Ranfos was under the influence of alcohol. After additional investigation, he was arrested and charged with OUIL.
