Bedford Police Investigating Two Burglaries
Cash, items taken from convenience store and residence.

Bedford Police, on Thursday, Jan. 24, responded to two reported thefts.
First, at 3:30 a.m., officers responded responded to Heaven’s Market on Boynton Street for a burglar alarm and, upon arrival, found the front door of the convenience store had been smashed. An investigation revealed an unknown amount of cash had been taken from the register drawer.
Then, at approximately 5:25 p.m., police responded to a residence on North Amherst Road for a reported burglary. The homeowner reportedly eturned home and noticed that the interior of the residence had been rummaged through with various items had been taken. Responding officers believe the burglar may have gained access to the home through an unsecured door sometime during the day.
