Bedford Rollover Crash Ejects Passenger, Driver Accused Of DUI

A Sandown, NH man is accused of driving under the influence after police investigate a Kilton Rd rollover crash that ejected a passenger

BEDFORD, NH - At approximately 12:20 a.m. Thursday, Bedford Police officers responded to the area of Route 101 westbound at the Kilton Road off-ramp for a reported rollover crash. Upon arrival, officers determined that a 2015 Toyota Corolla had rolled over near the curve of the off-ramp.

Bedford Police said "During the rollover, a passenger was ejected from the vehicle. The passenger was transported by Bedford Rescue to the Elliot Hospital in Manchester with serious injuries. FRYE was transported by Bedford Rescue to the Elliot Hospital in Manchester with non-life threatening injuries."

The Bedford Technical Accident Reconstruction Team was called to the scene to investigate the crash. The crash remains under investigation.

The Kilton Road off-ramp was temporarily closed while first responders were at the scene.

Bedford Police Chief John J. Bryfonski reports that the Bedford Police Department has charged a driver following the investigation of the accident. Chief Bryfonski said Joshua Frye, 20 of Sandown has been charged with DUI Aggravated, Vehicular Assault, and DUI Impairment.

Frye was booked following his release from the hospital. He was released on personal recognizance bail and will be arraigned at a later date at Hillsborough County Superior Court-Manchester.
