Bedford Town Council to Accept 'Sunset' of Business Resource Group
Here's what's on tonight's Town Council agenda.

The Bedford Town Council hasn't met for a regularly scheduled meeting since Oct. 24.
It has, however, met twice in that span to review the proposed budgets of various departments.
Tonight, the Council gathers at 7 p.m. at the BCTV Bedford Town Meeting Room and will meet with representatives from the town's zoning board of adjustment and Bedford Public Works Director Jim Stanford.

The first item on the agenda is the "sunset" of the Bedford Business Resource Group (BRG). According to Town Council Chairman Bill Dermody, the group was established to serve for only a finite period of time.
"The BRG informed the Council they felt they could better serve Bedford’s business community and our economic health as an independent group," said Dermody in an email to Bedford Patch. "The Council regrettably accepts their decision."

In addition, the Council will accept a land donation, will schedule a public hearing to discuss prohibiting thru-trucking on Donald Street, will receive an update on the dog park project.
Councilors will also approve 2013 meeting dates and discuss action items from the Town Council retreat.
The full agenda can be found on the Bedford town website.
