Bedford Water Main Break Taints Local Water Supply
Problem occurred at historic Bedford hotel.
A broken pipe at the old Sheraton-Wayfarer Conference Center in Bedford led to rusty water for many Manchester residents earlier this week.
According to the Union Leader, a contractor working at the vacant hotel broke an eight-inch private fire service line Thursday, which caused produced tainted tap water on Manchester's West Side.
