Bulldogs Take Bite Out of Holiday Tourney Competition
BHS wrestlers prove among the best in New England.

Competing against 59 of the top high school wrestling teams in New England is no easy task, but at the well-known and highly-competitive Lowell Holiday Tournament, Bedford's grapplers held their own, placing in a couple weight classes and finishing in the top half of the tourney as a team.
Senior Robert Bernard earned sixth place among 182-pounders and sophomore Matt Houston, who won the Bow Holiday tournament last month, finished eighth in the 195-pound weight class. Each competed in seven to eight matches over two days.
The Bulldogs, 2-1 in dual meets, return home tonight and then travel to John Stark Regional High School in Weare for a meet this Friday, Jan. 4.
