  1. New Hampshire's "Concord Casino" is under increased scrutiny for reportedly not paying the full amount of charitable nonprofit fees. More allegations surfaced about Concord Casino owner and former Bedford state senator Andy Sanborn after an New Hampshire Public Radio (NHPR) found that Sanborn, only contributes 17.5 percent of its proceeds, and not the 35 percent required for charitable casinos in the state.   2. Award-winning New York saxophonist Daniel Bennett is playing at the Bedford Library Oct. 1 Concert & Cookies series. The Daniel Bennett Group will be playing a special free CD release concert at 2:30 p.m. Light refreshments by the Friends of the Bedford Library will be served at intermission. "The Boston Globe described Bennett's music as, 'a mix of jazz, folk and minimalism.'" The concert is free and open to the public, but seating is limited. Don't miss the Fall Fair at the Educational Farm at Joppa Hill on Saturday, Sept. 30, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. You will find "artisan booths, food trucks, vendors, tractor rides, apples, pumpkin decorating, live music, kid's' activities, farm fun and more!"
