Convicted Felon With Box Cutter Accused Of Slashing A Man's Arm
William Eades of Manchester is accused of slashing a man's arm in an assault and trying to hide the box cutter police say he used.

MANCHESTER, NH — An assault on Welch Avenue in Manchester Wednesday led to felony charges against a felon, according to police.
Around 7 p.m., officers were sent to the avenue for a report of an assault. Heather Hamel, MPD spokesperson, said, "Police learned that there had been an altercation between two men and one slashed the other’s arm with a box cutter. Police found the box cutter outside in a bush."
The suspect, William Eades, 60 was charged with first-degree assault and falsifying physical evidence, for allegedly trying to hide the box cutter.

It was learned that Eades had a prior felony conviction. Therefore, he was also charged with Felon in Possession of a Dangerous Weapon.
Eades is scheduled for arraignment Thursday in Hillsborough County Superior Court North.
