Here are the top stories in Bedford today:

  1. Parents: The Town of Bedford posted a link to a Parent’s Guide to Fentanyl by DRS (Drug Rehab Services) and addicted.org on its website to educate parents and protect teens and children against the dangers of being exposed to deadly Fentanyl online. The drug may be disguised as a legitimate legal medicine on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok or Snapchat. Find out more here: (Bedford Patch)
  2. If you saw firefighters at 72 New Boston Road on Sunday, the home was being used for firefighter training. A developer who purchased the property allowed firefighters from Bedford, Goffstown, and New Boston to use the home, that was scheduled for demolition, to perform "search and rescue, fire suppression, thermal imaging, and equipment" training. Find out more here: (Jeffrey Hastings via Bedford Patch)
  3. If you are looking for a unique way to relax in Bedford, step into the Hotworx infrared fitness studio. Hotworx offers red light saunas with 11 virtual workouts to relax and de-stress. Why visit an infrared sauna? "Studies show that infrared therapy is detoxifying, helps boost the immune system and serotonin, and can lead to better sleep," said spa owners Katrina and Robbie George. (WMUR Manchester)
  4. It's time for spring soccer FUNdamental training from PreK-6th grade. Spring FUNdamentals started May 1st and will continue through June 8 at Preston Field, 109 Liberty Hill Road. For students who signed up, the Bedford Athletic Club noted they "will keep an eye on Wednesday's weather." See the lineup and find out more here: (Bedford Athletic Club via Facebook)
