Here are the top stories today in Bedford:

  1. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Tuesday for new workforce housing off of Route 101 in Bedford . The 93-unit Bow Lane Project that is finally completed "has been in the works for years," the developer said. Nearly half of the new 1, 2, and 3-bedroom apartments are dedicated to workforce housing. (WMUR Manchester)
  2. Have you seen this car? The Bedford Police are for help to identifying a male subject for a theft from a NH Liquor Store in Bedford on the night of June 5. The vehicle caught on surveillance footage is a dark gray sedan. See the images of the male subject and vehicle here: (Bedford NH Police Department via Facebook)
  3. A mysterious explosion killed one person and rocked a neighborhood on the Bedford-Merrimack line Tuesday. Around 1:30 p.m., police and fire and rescue teams arrived at Pearson Road to find the explosion left a large crater in the ground next to a "pump house" and propane tank that were both intact. Residents said the explosion knocked pictures off the walls. Officials investigated through the night Tuesday, but did not release the identity of the person who was killed. (Bedford Patch)
  4. A shoutout to the Bedford High School Girls Lacrosse team for "bringing home the first ever D1 Championship for Bedford!" The Bulldogs Booster Club sent a "special shoutout" to the senior players that graduated this weekend: "Sydney, Sabrina, Eli, Kira, Vivian, Regan and Abbi." Congratulations! 🎉 🥍 🐾👏🏻👏🏻."
