Drunk Man Driving 134 MPH Busted with Cocaine, Guns

The arrest occurred early Thursday in Bedford.

A Manchester man was arrested around 2 a.m. Thursday after his 2009 Infinity G37 was clocked traveling 134 mph northbound on Interstate 293 in Bedford, according to New Hampshire State Police.

Daniel Pirok, 34, of Manchester, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and was also found with a .45-caliber compact pistol on his person, according to state police, who also said a search of Pirok's vehicle revealed an AK-47 and AR-15 rifle and ammunition.

A subsequent search warrant was issued for Pirok's Manchester home, where police reportedly discovered $6,000 cash and 30 unidentified pills in a safe, in addition to a small amount of cocaine and products for contraband, including scales and plastic baggies, inside the residence.

Pirok was held on $5,000 cash bail and is scheduled to appear in Merrimack District Court.
