Edgar Allan Poe in Bedford Today?
Nationally-known actor to spook Bedford students with chilling tales of terror.

Campbell Harmon has, for years, performed around the country as Edgar Allan Poe.
The day before Halloween, the Bedford PTG is bringing the well-known National Endowment for the Arts actor brings his considerable talents to Bedford where he'll likely spook and wow 400 seventh graders – who are currently reading and studying Poe’s tales of terror and poignant poetryat Lurgio Middle School.
Harmon has brought the Master of the Macabre to life for audiences across America since 2009 as he works with libraries, schools, and the National Endowment for the Arts to further historical education and spark a love of reading in young and old alike.
The event takes place from 9-10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at the Bedford High School Theater.
