Fallen Tree Knocks Out Power to Dozens of Bedford Residents

You asked. Patch Answered.

Late Monday night, Bedford Patch received an email inquiry concerning a number of police cruisers and fire trucks that sped down Liberty Hill Road toward Merrimack.

We looked into it and found the source of the emergency haste.

Bedford Police issued a Nixle alert noting that power had been knocked out to a number of households on Barrington Road and access to the street was blocked due to PSNH trucks and crews restoring electricity to the area.

According to WMUR, a tree fell and took out a utility poll, also causing a small fire that was quickly extinguished.
