Former President Trump Attracts A Capacity Crowd At Manchester Rally

Trump made his first appearance in New Hampshire since officially announced he is running for President.

MANCHESTER, NH - Former President Donald Trump arrived at the Hilton Double Tree Hotel Thursday to a packed venue where some people had waited overnight to gain access to the rally.

People formed a line that started at the hotel and spanned two city blocks where they were solicited by vendors selling Trump-themed items.

Multiple members of different law enforcement agencies directed people to where the line began and worked to provide security outside of the event.

The doors which had been scheduled to open at 1 p.m. opened late, and when the doors opened the people poured into the venue. At about 3:15 p.m. the doors were closed because the venue had reached capacity which sources say was 1,600 people.

An estimated 500 people still waiting in line when they closed the doors appeared to still be upbeat and many decided to wait to see if they could catch a glimpse of former President Trump to arrive.

Inside Trump spoke about higher gas and grocery prices, the crisis at the southern border, drugs, homelessness, and the safety of the country.

"The choice is between strength and weakness, success and failure, peace and anarchy. We’re living in a catastrophe. We’re a nation in serious decline. A nation that’s lost its way.”

Trump spoke for about 1.5 hours and then was whisked off with a large motorcade to a local business in Manchester to make an appearance.
