Free Blood Pressure Clinic in Bedford
Here are five things you should know today in Bedford.
1. Here's the scoop ... The Inside Scoop, Bedford's favorite (well ... only) ice cream shop, is hiring and considering both full-time and part-time help. Positions are year-round, not seasonal. Apply in person at 260 Wallace Road, near the intersection with Route 101.
2. No Pressure ... Karl Peicker, Registered Pharmacist at Walgreens in Bedford, is offering a free blood pressure clinic at theBedford Public Library on Thursday, Sept. 12, from 1-5 p.m. For more information, click here.
3. No mystery about Bedford's History. Stop by the Bedford Historical Society Museum today or any other Wednesday, from 10 a.m. to noon, for a weekly open house. Have some of your questions about Bedford's history answered and take the opportunity to purchase Bedford's own Stevens-Buswell CQ Coffee, some Bedford books, pewter ornaments and/or handmade pin creations by Dizzy Cupcakes. Information is also available pertaining to some of the Historical Society's upcoming events such as the third-annual "Anything and Everything Yard Sale" on Sept. 28. 4. The weatherman says ... Today's high, according to Weather.com, is 80 degrees with a 0-percent chance of rain at some point during the day. The overnight low dips to 61 degrees.
