Jury Finds Trayvon Martin Killer Not Guilty
Case drew attention to 'stand your ground' laws in NH and nationwide.

George Zimmerman was found not guilty Saturday night in the death of Trayvon Martin, the Huffington Post reports.
Zimmerman pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder, arguing he shot Martin in self defense on Feb. 26, 2012 in Sanford, Fla.
The case drew attention to the "stand your ground" state laws around the country, the debate smoldering, too, at the New Hampshire Statehouse. A bill to repeal the "stand your ground" law passed in the New Hampshire House of Representatives, but a Senate committee recommended the bill be rejected. The Senate, while considering the recommendation, tabled the bill, effectively ending it this session. Here's a link to the bill.
