Violence In Manchester Leaves 3 People With Gunshot Wounds

Manchester Police Detectives processing multiple scenes where multiple shootings happened on Auburn St area and Valley Street

MANCHESTER, NH — At approximately 10:30 p.m. Friday, Manchester police received a call regarding gunshots outside in the area of Auburn Street and Union Street.

Police found three victims who had sustained gunshot wounds. The victims were given medical aid at the scene by Manchester firefighters, AMR Ambulance and Bedford firefighters, who responded for mutual aid.

Manchester police said the victims were transported to local hospitals, but did not provide the medical conditions of the victims. In a press release detailing the incident police sair "It also does not appear to be a random act."

At 1:20 a.m. Saturday, three blocks from the previous shooting a few hours before, police were notified of another shooting outside of 3 Kitchen Bar & Grill on Valley Street.

Upon arrival, officers located several shell casings on the ground but determined there were no victims at the scene.

The incident is still under investigation but preliminary information suggests that the shooting stemmed from an argument outside of the bar.

Throughout the day on Saturday Manchester Police Detectives processed evidence in an approx 3 block area surrounding Auburn Street. Police also could be seen searching the nearby Valley Street cemetery utilizing a K9 specially trained in locating ballistics, and firearms.
