Horn: 'Put to Rest Forever ... the Party of Old White Guys' [VIDEO]
Newly elected NH GOP chair promises to take her party in a forward direction.
BEDFORD – Jennifer Horn's message was loud and clear.
For the GOP to find success and regain a strong foothold in both the New Hampshire and national political arenas, Republicans must change their thinking and their tact.
"We must put to rest forever the notion that the Republican party does not care, that we don't care about women, that we don't care about the elderly, that we don't care about children, that we don't care about the most vulnerable among us," said Horn. We must put to rest forever the notion that the Republican party is the party of old white guys. It is time to renew the GOP to the 'Great Opportunity Party.'"

Horn, speaking to roughly 450 of the Granite State's most influential conservatives Saturday afternoon, promised to embrace more liberty minded members of her party, such as Andrew Hemingway, the man she defeated to and to do everything in her power to mend relations within the divided party.
In addition, Horn vowed to take a forward approach to the use all available tools and means at her party's disposal.

"We've got to upgrade our technology, we've got to be much more effective on social media, we've got to use technology more effectively than we have in the past," she said. "We've a lot of great voices in the party who will be part of that effort. Hopefully Mr. Hemingway will come forward and be part of that effort as well, but moving forward we will have all the tools in place to win elections."
