Hudson Woman Accused Of Arson And Criminal Mischief After Vehicle Fire

HUDSON, NH — A Hudson woman is accused of arson after an investigation into a vehicle fire on Lowell Road Thursday.
Hudson Fire and police responded to a reported vehicle fire at 277 Lowell Road at 6:40 a.m. When they arrived, they found a vehicle on fire and extinguished the fire. The vehicle sustained extensive damage and was believed to be suspicious in nature, according to police.
Police officers and firefighters, with the assistance of the New Hampshire Fire Marshal’s Office and an accelerant-detecting canine, investigated and collected evidence.

Michaela Bell, 26, of Hudson, was charged after police say they investigated the fire. She was accused of arson and criminal mischief. Bell was transported to the Hillsborough County House of Corrections, where she was held pending a video arraignment.
Evidence was collected at the scene, which will be processed, and the investigation remains active at this time.
