Here are the top stories in Bedford today:
- In a surprising show of unity, the House passed a two-year $15.76 billion state budget after a bipartisan voice vote Thursday. It was the first time since 1989 that the House passed a budget by a bipartisan voice vote, avoiding a roll call vote — which "can be contentious." But not all were happy with a last-minute amendment to the two House bills. Rep. Dan Hynes of Bedford, who voted against the budget and amendment said, “It was a Democrat budget that Republicans joined in.” (New Hampshire Bulletin)

All proceeds for the annual Spring Fling fundraiser will support local nonprofits and high school scholarships. (Rotary Club of Bedford, NH via Facebook)
