- Friday, Oct. 6 is the last chance for Bedford residents to change their party affiliation before the 2024 Presidential Primary. The Supervisors of the Checklist will be meeting on Friday, Oct. 6 from 7-7:30 p.m. at the Bedford Town Offices at 24 North Amherst Road. Visit The Supervisors of the Checklist when they will be meeting to make any changes at the Town office. You can change political party affiliation as well as make deletions, changes of name and address, and other updates to the resident checklist. (Bedford Patch)

- Remember the two women Bedford police were looking for after a May New Hampshire liquor store theft in Bedford? A North Andover woman was arraigned for stealing more than $6,000 of alcohol from several New Hampshire liquor stores, including Bedford. Chelsie Nolan, 30, has been charged with stealing alcohol from liquor store outlets in Concord, Hampton, Portsmouth, Seabrook, Nashua, Bedford, Pembroke, and Hooksett. Police are still looking for a brunette female accomplice. (Subscription/Eagle-Tribune)
