- Bedford High was named a top rated high school in New Hampshire. Stacker compiled a list using 2023 rankings from Niche, and Bedford High School ranked the 4th out of 30 high schools. - Lēf Farms "spiced" lettuce was a mistakenly recalled last week for E. Coli contamination, official said. The error was from a contaminated lab "control sample," according to the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services. The recalled lettuce will soon be back on shelves at Market Basket and other local markets. (wokq.com)
- Bedford junior and all-star athlete Maggie Foxx is making a name for herself as one of the few girls playing baseball in New Hampshire. The catcher and pitcher said she can "pretty much play wherever the coach needs me." Bedford coach Billy Chapman said Foxx "isn't treated differently" than any other player. Foxx was also on the Bedford State Championship soccer team, ranks fourth for shotput and is also a skier. Congratulations! (WMUR Manchester)
