Manchester To Close A Portion Of Elm Street For Event

MANCHESTER, NH — Police have announced that a portion of Elm Street will be closed on Saturday due to a special event. Elm Street, from Lake Avenue to Bridge Street, will be closed from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. to accommodate the Cruising Downtown event, hosted by the Manchester Rotary Club. Alternative routes through the downtown will be available using Canal, Chestnut, Pine and Union streets.

Cruising Downtown is an annual car show taking place 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. All proceeds from the event will benefit local nonprofits.
