Manchester Man Accused Of Driving Drunk, Striking 2 Bedford Cops
Brandon Legere was arrested Sunday morning, accused of striking cops, cruisers in the lot of the Hampton Inn and Suites on Hawthorne Drive.

BEDFORD, NH — Two officers were injured early Sunday morning after an incident in a hotel parking lot.
Just before 3:15 a.m., an officer on patrol at the Hampton Inn and Suites on Hawthorne Drive saw a Nissan Sentra in the parking lot idling with two unconscious people inside, according to police. The officer began to investigate the situation and requested backup. After doing so, the driver of the car, identified later as Brandon Legere, 43, of Manchester, “attempted to flee in the vehicle, striking two officers and two police cruisers,” Bedford Police Chief Daniel Douidi said.
“The officers were injured in the collision but were able to stop the driver in the parking lot and arrest him at the scene,” he said.

Douidi said both officers were treated and released from local hospitals.
“I want to commend our officers who made these arrests in a very dangerous situation,” Douidi said. “While these officers were performing their duty, working on keeping our roads and community safe, they suffered injuries as a result of being struck by a suspect's car. We’re grateful that they did not suffer more serious injuries and are already out of the hospital.”
