Manchester Man Charged With Producing Child Porn
According to reports, he admitted to investigators he filmed girls in the shower, some of whom police believe were as young as 7.

MANCHESTER, NH — A Manchester man has been charged with production of child pornography, according to sources. The Union Leader reports police as saying Glen Lanchester, 51, admitted to them he had set up a hidden camera in his bathroom to record girls. He was arrested Monday, Jan. 28.
In December 2017, Manchester Police Department’s Cybercrime Unit and the state's Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force had been investigating child pornography on BitTorrent, the peer-to-peer file sharing platform, according to the Leader sources.
Beginning in December 2017, for about two months, investigators downloaded suspected child porn from a particular IP address. Authorities got Lanchester's information from Comcast and obtained a search warrant for his Eastern Avenue apartment, reports say.

Lanchester and his adult son voluntarily went to the station and answered questions, the Leader cites police as saying, though only Glen was arrested. Police said he admitted to hiding a camera in a fake alarm clock in the bathroom, activated by a motion sensor once he turned it on remotely, to record girls as they showered. Police believe the girls may have been as young as 7.

The report says when asked if there would be hundreds or thousands of such videos stored in his devices, he told police it was under 1,000.
Lanchester has been released for the time being, but is being electronically monitored, NECN reports.
