Manchester Police Quickly Arrest Man Accused Of Armed Robbery
Man accused of Lake Ave armed robbery located in a Spruce St driveway when a Manchester Police Officer spotted him and arrested him

MANCHESTER, NH — A 29-year-old Manchester man was arrested Tuesday and charged with armed robbery in connection with a local food mart.
Manchester Police were called to the Lake Ave Food Mart at 425 Lake Ave. where police spokeswoman Heather Hamel said that An employee told police that around a man wearing a white hoodie entered the store at 7:35 a.m. and displayed a handgun in his waistband. He then demanded cash and took off on foot.
Soon after the armed robbery was reported, an officer spotted a male meeting the description of the suspect. Police say he was attempting to conceal himself in a driveway on Spruce St. The suspect was identified as Victor Alvarado Vega, 29 of Manchester, who arrested and charged with armed robbery, Hamel said.

Alvarado Vega’s bail was set at $5000 cash. A Hillsborough Superior Court – North court date is yet to be determined.
